Little Medical School

The Little Veterinarian School encourages elementary school

children to role play and explores the exciting world of veterinarians. Using interactive
demonstrations, crafts, and games, kids learn how to take care of a pet and use instruments that real
veterinarians use. At Little Veterinarian School, students will assume the role of a veterinarian and learn how to perform a nose-to-tail exam, the importance of proper nutrition, perform a tick check, and identify animal body language. In Little Veterinarian School, students will role-play the key responsibilities of a vet remove ticks safely, administer medications and more. These future professionals will learn about animal behavior, use real veterinary equipment and receive a diploma!

Section I: Dog/Veterinarian After “adopting” their very own plush puppy, students will
role-play the key responsibilities of a veterinarian, including how to properly perform a
nose-to-tail exam. These future veterinarians will learn how to sew stitches, remove ticks,
make healthy treats, and vaccinate their dogs.
