Little Doctor School Summer Camp Inspired learning today - healthy futures tomorrow! Camp participants will role-play the key responsibilities of a doctor and learn about vital organs in the human body. These future doctors will learn how to use a stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, and reflex hammer. They will practice administering first aid, learn how pharmacists play a role in administering medications, and more!

The Little Medical School brings medicine, science, and the importance of health to children in a fun and entertaining way. Through interactive demonstrations, crafts, and games, kids learn how the body and organs work, how to use doctors’ instruments, and even how to administer first aid. At Little Medical School, students will assume the role of a doctor and learn how the body and organs work, how to use medical instruments, and even tie knots like a real surgeon. Students will use real medical instruments (stethoscope, reflex hammer, and blood pressure cuff) and practice scrubbing and suturing. Section I: Basic anatomy, medical instruments, and prepping for surgery. Through role-play and activities, students will learn the key responsibilities of a doctor and explore the heart, lungs, and digestion. Students will use real medical instruments (stethoscope, reflex hammer, and blood pressure cuff) and practice scrubbing, suturing, and tying knots like a real surgeon.

Little Vet School Summer Camp Become a paw-some and purr-fect veterinarian! Camp participants will role-play the key responsibilities of a veterinarian and learn how to care for a dog and/or a cat. These future veterinarians will learn how to remove ticks, perform a nose-to-tail exam, understand proper animal nutrition and hydration, suture lacerations, and more! Section III: Cat/Veterinarian Students will role-play the key responsibilities of a veterinarian and perform a whiskers-to-tail exam on their newly “adopted” plush cat. These future veterinarians will learn about animal body language, maintaining a healthy environment such as proper litterbox placement, creating a cat toy, and designing a vet clinic.

Section I: Dog/Veterinarian After “adopting” their very own plush puppy, students will role-play the key responsibilities of a veterinarian, including how to properly perform a nose-to-tail exam. These future veterinarians will learn how to sew stitches, remove ticks, make healthy treats, and vaccinate their dogs.

Little Vet School Summer Camp Become a paw-some and purr-fect veterinarian! Camp participants will role-play the key responsibilities of a veterinarian and learn how to care for a horse. These future veterinarians will learn how to remove ticks, perform a nose-to-tail exam, understand proper animal nutrition and hydration, suture lacerations, and more! Section IV: Horse / Veterinarian Now students can learn all about horses and their care from the newest Little Medical School Equine program. Students will adopt and name their plush horse and learn the anatomy and maintenance of a horse. They will also learn basic horse nutrition, riding styles, gaits and role- play and basic key responsibilities of an equine veterinarian.

The Little Veterinarian School encourages elementary school children to role play and explores the exciting world of veterinarians. Using interactive demonstrations, crafts, and games, kids learn how to take care of a pet and use instruments that real veterinarians use. At Little Veterinarian School, students will assume the role of a veterinarian and learn how to perform a nose-to-tail exam, the importance of proper nutrition, perform a tick check, and identify animal body language. Journey to become a marine biologist! This program offers a dynamic, hands-on introduction to marine biology. Participants will conduct ocean experiments, adopt a plush sea turtle, and partake in a collaborative rescue and release of a Leatherback sea turtle. Along their journey, they’ll uncover the mysteries of ocean layers, vertebrates vs. invertebrates, water pressure, and more! They’ll also explore marine mammals, ocean animal babies, and ocean predators. This engaging program culminates in their graduation as Little Marine Biologists, empowering them to protect our oceans!

STEM SLEUTHS is a 6-hour course that exposes students to the forensic science used to solve a crime. Students will conduct experiments on fingerprinting, collecting shoe prints, chromatography, composite drawing, facial reconstruction, toxicology, and handwriting analysis. The class culminates in the forensic student team working together to solve a crime.

Wilderness Medicine Summer Camp Conquer the great outdoors! Camp participants will role-play emergency situations in the wild, and learn how to prepare for natural disasters and animal encounters. These future emergency medics will learn about snake bites, hypothermia, tourniquets, wild animal safety, how to read a compass, poisonous plants, edible plants, distress signals, forest fires, tornadoes, common bug bites, and more.
